Debits still coming off cancelled policy

My Life policy was cancelled at the end of May, it is now August and I am still being debited for this policy. I have been promised it wouldn't happen again. I have also been promised a refund from last month's debit but they still have the audacity to debit me again this month. No refund as of yet either. Amazing how the big guys just don't understand customer service.
