CANCELLATION WAS PROCESSED AND THEY STILL DEDUCTED MONEY

My policy was prior to inception and legally I can cancel before the date of commencements. I emailed discovery and copied the agent in Lerato Phahlane. I promptly received a call back and she tried to retain the policy. I told her I could not afford it anymore as circumstances had changed. She said she would move the commencement date to Feb 2020 with the permission of the manager and she said I can then decide from there (please pull the calls). I then got an email with the policy info stating that the DOC is STILL November 2019. I then called disovery back and said I want them to cancel. I know if I cancel Lerato loses her comission or whatever for this year... so I said Cancel and This time I want it in writing that the policy is cancelled. This morning close to R1000 was taken from my policy. I tiold the man on the call YESTERDAY that I DO NOT want to keep the policy and I asked him to ensure i was NOT debited as I CANNOT afford it. When I told him the nature of the situation he said he understood and will process the cancellation. I told him that medical aid from the same company is set to increase next year and I have dependents who I would rather have on medical aid... I got an email BUT this morning MONEY WAS TAKEN! I feel like all Discovery wanted to do was retain the policy and get commission. I am furious!
