Benefit Blues

On 19/12/2016, I emailed Discovery's GEPF division to request a sponsor/benefit letter for my niece who will be in her first year of university in 2017. I followed uop with a call on 5/1/2017 and spoke to Tiffany, I explained to her that my niece needed this letter to submit to the Housing division of the university she will be studying at when she goes to accept the firm offer.

I have had to call Discovery at least 4 more times to request the letter only to be told Tiffany is still working on it, 11/1a gentleman named Roderick offered to follow up with Tiffany and reassured me Tiffany would send it. On 13/1 Tiffany called to confirm my email adress. On calling Discovery AGAIN, i was told Tiffany had emailed the letter on 13/1/2017 but i STILL haven't received it. Roderick then said Tiffany would resend the letter and call me to confirm but guess what...i STILL don't have it, even checked my spam and junk folders.

This letter was required for my niece to secure residence at the university as GEPF doesn't pay for outside accomodation. My question is now that since GEPF has been unable to provide mere confirmation of the benefit at the time when she went to submit her results and for almost 2 weeks after, why should she be prejudiced by inefficient processes? She has already taken time to travel to the university and now how will she submit this letter: who must finance the second trip as we have budgetted for her next trip to for registration processes.

I am very disappointe d by the poor, poor, absolutely dismal service rendered by Discovery! To call so many times and still be no better off? absolutely unacceptable service
