Adding a foreign spouse to funeral plan

<p>I have health cover and life insurance with discovery. My husband has two life covers with you and he is on vitality. I have a funeral policy as well and because we are married now, I wanted to add him to the cover. I was then told I can't add him because he doesn't have a SA ID. But its ok for you guys to give him a credit card, cover his health and life, but not cover him for death? Who came up with that and what is the reason behind it? What's worse is that when I was applying, the lady on the phone failed to tell me that I can't add a foreign spouse. I had even sent them all the documents and signed those stupid forms of theirs. I thought Discovery was one of the best companies to insure with until now. How can you not be able to meet your customers needs? I am sure I am not the first in the country to request this. This is unacceptable. With this happening, I think I will move to other companies that give thought to their customers.</p>
