Worst Quote Ever
<p>Discovery Insure gave me a quote on vehicle, home content and buildings. The quote came out much higher than my current insurer. I asked them if they were not even going to try and beat my current insurer to which the sales person rep**** that they will not as they are not a charity organisation. This is shocking as I am a Discovery Health member and this is by far the worst service I ever got from a insurance company. If this is how they treat potential new customers, how do they treat their paying customers when it comes to paying claims????</p>
We are sorry to hear of the unfortunate response that you received from the sales consultant, and will refer this matter to sales management to investigate.
We however when conducting a quote for cover, need to make sure that the risk to be covered is equivalent to the premium for that cover.
We've confirmed with the pricing team that the premium quoted is correct for the cover that was requested.
We are sorry that we could not offer a different outcome at this point in time.
