Worst insurance company!

<p>A third party reversed into my stationary vehicle, a luxury car, and caused damaged to my front bumper, grill, headlight, etc. The clips on the bumper were broken. Both VW and an independant panel beater said that the bumper should be replaced. Discovery however insisted that it must be fixed. So let glue the bumper on a luxury vehicle back together! After endless fighting I just let it be...they "fixed" the bumper and it does NOT look like it looked before the accident, because the bumper is not alligning correctly...but Discovery does not care! It would have cost them R7k to replace the bumper, instead they insist that the panal beaters must try to fix it - the time and effort spend on this claim has way surpased the R7k, but they don't care. I thought it would be better not to claim from the third party's insurers, but rather my own, Discovery - big mistake!!! Be very aware of insuring with Discovery, they take short cuts and fix your car as cheap as possible.</p>
