Why is nothing being done??

I had an accident last year, in October, which wasn't my fault. I took down the other parties details like I was suppose to, reported it to the police, got the AR number, put through a claim, got the vehicle assessed and fixed within a reasonable time.<br> Now my problem is that, I have since then been waiting to hear back from Discovery regarding the steps that they have taken to get into contact with the other party who was responsible for the accident. I was told that you have a legal department that will handle this on my behalf. But I am still sitting at a loss. Do I know go open my own case with the police? Or what. All of your policy documents say that we should not take matters into our own hands, but when I pay each month for potential damage to my car, I certainly do not expect you to be this *********** at recovering damages from the person responsible. Please sort this out as promised, or get back to me regarding why you are still sitting on this claim number and doing nothing about it. You are sending the message that drivers out there can drive recklessly and damage peoples vehicles with no consequences. If this is the level of service you provide, then it is shocking!
