What is going on at Discovery?

A few years ago when Discovery Insure started they called me to sell me car insurance. It was a good offer with a zero excess option which I took for my son and daughter's cars. A year later the rate was increased by over 20%. I called them but they were not prepared to reduce this. When my daughter (a student) moved to a new rental property in Stellenbosch her car was parked on the street. This meant that her policy now had an endor*****t if anything happened to the car while parked on the street which included a R3000 excess. I understand this. She was recently involved in a bumper bashing in Cape Town which was not her fault. Initially, Discovery wanted to charge the R3000 excess but after explaining to them that this had nothing to do with the endor*****t and threatening to move my business the next day they backed down. Then to add insult to injury, a few days later I get a call from a call center trying to sell me Discovery Insurance. I asked the lady if she knew that I already had Discovery Insurance to which she rep**** no. What is going on there?????
