What a let down - lacking feedback and unreasonable waiting time

I'm not to usually complain, but I've had it.

I've submitted my claim after a house ******* 2 weeks ago, nothing has been resolved. Firstly I had to call THEM after 2 days of no information, only to find out that the person handling the claim could not open my documents, secondly, they keep telling me I need to get quotes on items I already sent information and even proof of payment for. This is ridiculous, 2 weeks later, 0 delivery. I had to take leave from work in order to get quotes on the items they asked me for, only to have them ask for extra quotes again 2 days later. Do you think everyone can just walk around all the time? I pay nearly 1k per month in insurance fees for this? Thanks though, I'll probably be cancelling my credit card, insurance, medical aid & vitality.

Hi Sekgobola,

The last correspondance I received clearly indicated that I had yet again go get quotes for items. How can it be authorised if that's the case:

"Please note that your claim will be reffered to management for authorization of the items being claimed for because the payment is above my mandate.

Kindly send the quotation for the clothes not sold by Edgars."

Again, quotes, this is 2 weeks later might I add.

We confirm that the claim has been authorised and ask that you check your emails for the agreement of loss, sign it and return to the claims handler for payment to be processed.
