WARNING-DONT GET HIJACKED IF INSURED BY DISCOVERY

2 Months ago I got hijacked,the car had a DQ tracker and was recovered by the DQ tracker division at discovery insure.the nightmare was not the hijack, but what I had to go through after claiming.I couldn't believe I had to be the one reminding the person who was given my claim that my policy had a car hire, worse off to be asked where the car was after recovery. to my knowledge, if a car was recovered by their division, they were the ones that gave authorisation to tow the car to their preferred safe zone.I felt insulted when the assessor who interviewed me asked for my nationality and legality in the country,everything was stated when I was taking up the policy.They took the car to their preferred panel beaters,who stated 14 days TAT, exactly a month after the hijack I was worried coz the car hire was expiring, I spoke to 2 consultants who promised to call back and never did.was referred to communicate with the panel beaters,hell no,I have a contract with discovery insure, and my satisfaction should come from them that's why I pay my premiums.Today my car is still under, good luck to the disc insure clients,for me think its time to shop around if this is how its gonna be
