Very very poor priceing!

First, a few months ago I called for a review on my policy and was offered only a R100 drop in price which I then accepted but was never been put into action. This was after I contacted other insurers to get quotations (one of which I accepted at R1298) but was convinced by Discovery not to take for a multitude of reasons and was told things would change and I should hang on and call back to get it dropped even further. It was never dropped in the first place as promised and it has now been raised. Every insurer has offered me +/- R1300 a month and Discovery maintains a +/- R1000 a month more expensive than the closest competitor. I have thus far only had amazing and good experiences with Discovery but I am being left more and more with a very sour taste in my mouth. My medical aid is with Discovery, I have just opened a policy with Discovery and I am currently moving pensions to Discovery as well. The amount of money I am spending at Discovery is every growing and in the beginning (+/- 5 years ago) I was guaranteed the more I have at Discovery the less I pay. This seems to be the opposite, and even if this is note the case, I am as a fact paying on average R1000 more than I would pay anywhere else for the same product. Very very disappointing. Why can Discovery not be competitive with pricing!
