Using Secondhand Parts to Repair Our Vehicle
Our 2012 Polo TdI was in an accident and the bumper was damaged. Panel beaters quoted R11 400 to fix our vehicle, Discovery approved R3 700 . They made this massive saving for themselves by using a secondhand bumper, which means they only have to pay R700 and we have to pay R3 000 excess. Very clever, Discovery. Well done.

Please note that this is a matter of price difference. While your repairer quoted R11 400 for this repair, our repairer will perform the same repair for R3 700. This is merely a quote difference rather than what Discovery Insure has authorized to cover the repairs of your vehicle.
