User Unfriendly website

I tried to.log in to my Discovery insure App with my known Password. At first it told.me my password or user name is wrong so I used the forgot Username option. I then selected the forgot password option to change my password. I have done this now for the second time. First attempt it showed I can't use a previously used password after the system showed my password is wrong now every time I change the password successfully and I try to log in the system tells me my password is wrong. Do I need a degree in rocket science to do a simple thing as to reset a password.
