Useless insurance company

Don't use them. I'm on their purple plan, which doesn't make a difference. My bicycle frame broke in January. This is a problem as I'm nearing a race I've been training for for the past year. I logged the claim and sent the bicycle report from the shop and photos of the bike the same day. One month later, Discovery called and said that they now required pictures of the rented trailer used to transport the bike when it was damaged. They said the claim is on hold until the photos are received. They only assessed the broken frame a month after I logged the claim!

Don't use them. They aren't serious about their clients and only want your premiums.

1. You are asking for pictures of the trailer a month after I logged the claim. A month!! This should have been resolved in a couple of days, not a month and counting!!
2. My bike shop was transporting the bike when it was damaged.
3. They rented the trailer, so now they must find it to get images.

For a company that actively encourages cross-selling of your products, it makes me question why I have any of them...of which I currently have all of them.

After another frustrating day of repetitions of "it needs to go through the process, it needs to go through the process", nothing has been done.

Even though Discovery's process is broken and they couldn't care, their requirement of trying to hunt down a rented trailer to take a photo of it...A MONTH TOO LATE, Discovery still won't budge.

Don't use Discovery or any insurance company that uses Riders at Work. Both these companies are ***********, and you can't speak to a "person"...you only talk to their checklist, regardless of how ridiculous.
