Useless Discovery Insure

I was involved in an accident on the 22nd of June 2022 were I struck a metal sheet on the R21 in Johannesburg. The front bumper, intercooler and radiator was damaged (as communicated to me by the service consultant from Discovery). This was all communicated to me on the 9th of July 2022 and the consultant assured me that the vehicle repairs would be done in 17 days. I have phoned numerous times to ask for updates as the only updates that are given is on the website (useless dates that mean nothing). It has been more than 2 months and still I don't have my vehicle back. I have even lodged a complaint on the Discovery webpage (they promise that someone will contact you within 24hours) for which I only got an email with a reference number back. No-one is willing to assist as all the consultants do is regurgitate the useless answers that are given to them by the garage that are doing the repairs. All is well if they can take your money, just don't expect them to assist when they are needed to fulfill the duties for which one pay's.
