Useless customer service

Very disappointed with my experience with Discovery Insure. After my vehicle was repaired by one of their approved panel beaters, N4 Auto Craft, I discovered that the rearview camera was damaged. The camera was fully functional when I dropped the vehicle off, and the damage was noticed immediately after collecting it.

Despite raising this with Discovery Insure, they have been completely unhelpful. They insisted on a diagnostic report, which I obtained, only for them to come back and say the report doesn’t prove that the panel beaters caused the damage.

This is incredibly frustrating — the facts are simple: the camera worked before the repair, and it was damaged after. Discovery’s refusal to take responsibility or assist in resolving the issue with their approved repairer shows a serious lack of accountability and customer support. I expected better from an insurer that promotes itself on innovation and service.

Would not recommend based on this experience.
