Up date on my credit report

Discovery insure do not update my credit report and this have a very negative impact on my credit profile. i have called the on numerous occasions to correct this but with no success. They keep on giving reference number after reference number. Are they not suppose to by law to provide such information. Can someone help[ in this matter.
