Nuisance calls from unwanted marketing of insurance and other products. I had a medical insurance with discovery in 2010 and was cancelled. I also never gave permission for Discovery to share my contract details. I have expressly stated I do not wish to receive any further communications from Discovery or your agents. "constitutes an unsolicited communication in terms of section 45 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), as read with section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act or alternatively, section 69 of the Protection of Personal Information Act " I am receiving 4 calls some days and at least 10 a month wanting to sell me something and always “it is affiliated with discovery”. I have asked numerous times to take my name off their data base only to receive another call less than a hour later. It is extremely frustrating receiving these calls constantly. What happened to POPI act?

I do not want these calls. I am not interested in any of the products.

I want my name off the data base that they have.
