Unpaid claim

I am really disappointed in the way Discovery Insure handled my claim. I was given a person who was to be responsible for this claim but she never showed any interest. I have sent her several emails inquiring about the status of my claim but she never bothered to respond. I stopped paying the policy because of this treatment. Now Discovery Insure has left my policy active though I am not paying. This is compromising my current policy status. I now appear as a person who has two identical policies and can claim on both policies for the same item. This came to my attention when I made a claim months later from another insurer for something else. As a result of this, I was paid half of the amount that was due to me.
