unjust enrichment?
I had a motor vehicle insured with discovery insure. part of the service was that a tracking device (DQ tracker) was installed in the vehicle.
The vehicle was sold and discovery insure informed. Discovery insure then sent me an email requesting me to make an appointment for the removal of the tracking device informing me that if the retrieval for any reason, will fail, they will charge R1080, informing that the amount not be paid this will result in blacklisting.

So far, so good, the tracking device is the insurers property, so they can have it.

The email refers to a link to book this removal appointment, following this link resulted in an error message stating\Your user profile is not allowed to access this content or functionality"Direct response to the email results as well in an error message \""user unknown\"".

The email sent to discovery insure stating the sale of the vehicle and cancelling the insurance was ignored and the insurance premium debited. Only after payment was rejected by me they got into gears.

I suspect this has method and is not made to retrieve the device but rather to get the money.

This is bad customer service and looks like a *******!

"""
