Unhappy Customer: Discover Insure are the worst insurance ever. Policy no. *** car registration number HF 31 SS GP I Was involved in a car accident on 2024/12/03. I was Driving on a one way road coming down Maraisburg. I was in the righ lane, indicating to turn right, corner 10th Avenue and (Albertina sisulu road ) Maraisburg. The road was clear for me to turn right. The lady bashed into me, on the right side With the Impact the car swift straight into the pole, damaged right side front and back door and front side of the my vehicle. She was alone, got out of her car with her phone in her hand. Screening and shouting at us, Next best thing her husband appear on the scene, exchange phone numbers and withheld all other information, they then fled the scene while we we were waiting on the Ambulance and traffic cops. They were not border with anything. There were injuries involved. On the 2025/03/26 Discovery Insure contacted me. Upon Speaking to Discovery Insure over 120 days later, the consultant Lancelot was *********** and suddenly dictated to me how the accident happened. When I told him that I was driving on a one way road turning right, he tells me I was driving on a road with oncoming vehicles. His accused me of driving on oncoming vehicle road, as if he was with me at the time of the accident. The more I explained him, the more his accusing me. That road in Maraisburg is a way road pls. The gentleman was rude and not helpful. When we requested to speak to another consultant he blatantly told me that he won't do that and doesn't want to. I asked to be put through to Legal Liabilities and he told me out right that he will not put me through cause he does not want to. Discovery is sitting with people who have no customer service etiquette "Customers First" and they have no way of addressing someone. I know I am not Discovery's client but I too deserve respect when being spoken to. This consultant continuously spoke over me and would not allow me the opportunity to explain my detail. The service is beyond pathetic and poor. At the end of the day I am human too and I deserve to also he heard and present my evidence. Discovery Insure is not as magical as it seems and I won't stop until this is dealt with. To think I considered you for my insurance and this is your behavior. It's atrocious!!! Preying on me just because I'm a woman. On the 3rd April 25 all required documents were submitted to your relevant department Legal Liabilities as referred to Mrs/Ms Gretchen Rubin on ***) regarding the incident of 03/12/24, but no reply. I have not received any feedback since 04/04/25 from my last email. I am unemployed and need my vehicle to be fixed as your client bashed into me. Hope someone can assist me in this matter.
