UNEXPECTED UPDATED POLICY:
Discovery Insure's claiming process is simplistic and straightforward.
I am, however, very disappointed with an updated policy I never received, up until the time I was busy with my claim.
The offer I got from Discovery Insure the day I signed up was no access payable on car- and household contents, and that is exactly what I got on my policy. Up until the time I was busy submitting my claim. It all of a sudden changed to that one specific area which I was claiming from (household contents) change to access of R2250 payable. This section was added as accidental breakage and power surge, which was not on my old policy.
I have never gotten an updated policy for Discovery Insure up until that time. I was busy submitting my claim and quering the access that I have to pay. Only then did I get an updated policy, which had this new section added.
I asked questions about it, and it was so impersonal, all I got was a new updated policy sent to me. I feel it was unfair and unprofessional. If I knew my policy, changed this would not have been an issue.
I am very upset, unsettled, and very dissatisfied at this stage.

I know that I did not miss that correspondence. I am very meticulous when it comes to things like this.
What I also do not understand, you send me a list with how much all the different categories of excess has gone up with, so why did household contents power surge and accidental damage went up with almost double the price of R1250 when I never had this in my first policy?
