Underhanded dealings by Discovery

At the end of April 2015 I called and cancelled my car insurance with Discovery (to which they agreed) as it had become expensive with minimal benefits.<br> <br> For example, the 25 % fuel rewards turned out to be nothing but empty promises e.g. on fuel costs of /- 3000 a month I would receive less then R 50 rewards). <br> <br> Even worse, I never received m y rewards card since I joined in May 2014 which was promised to me. <br> On the 1st of June 2015 the debit order was stopped as agreed. <br> <br> However, to my shock and dismay I received an sms on the 10th of June 2015 with a debit order that had been processed a day before (the 9th of June 2015) even after I had cancelled with both discovery and standard bank. <br> <br> This is unacceptable and underhanded of discovery to make such transactions against my account after I had explicitly terminated their contract. Such should not be allowed by the banks!!!<br> <br> <br>
