Uber Discount not allocated

I've been using Uber taxi service quite frequently lately and has always received discount on my Uber invoice for being on Discovery Insurance. I used Uber again this past Monday morning but this round no Discovery discount.<br> I phoned Discovery and according to Cathy it's because I haven't registered my cellphone number. How come then have I received the discount in previous months, and why was I not notified if I need to re-register for the benefit.<br>
