Typical insurance company
I have cover with discovery insure, I've been with them for a few years. I had my cellphone specified on the knranfe which I recently re activated due to me being out the country. I suffered accidental damage on my phone in 4th July 2024, took it in to be assessed to speed things up as I need to have my phone with me, it was deemed un economical to repair. I was asked to get a quote which I did and now have been further delayed by the fact that the policy is recently re activated and gas to go to a senior assessor delaying it further. I don't want stories my policy is up to date I am covered and as per usual insurance companies looking for reasons not to honor their part. Didn't think discovery would be one of them but proven wrong

I don't car if my policy was 10 minutes old and I suffered loss. I was covered from the day I insured the item. I am not in control of when tji gs take place. I expect this to be resolved tomorrow woth no further delays or excuses

Honestly ridiculous that a person has cover , suffers loss amd then get ignored while they delay. Will definitely be seeking alternative insurance after this.
One only know how good a insurance company is when it comes tome to claim.and well discovery you have showed me you are not very good
