TRULY WORLD CLASS SERVICE FROM DISCOVERY INSURE AND FROM INSURANCE CLAIM HANDLER BUSISIWE TALIWE

About a year ago my insurance broker suggested that I move my short term insurance to Discovery, which I eventually did, after doing much research. Discovery gave me the best best rate in the industry. Yes, Discovery. Not OUTSURANCE or similar others who make a lot of noise in the market. Yes, I am talking about Discovery Insure.

Today, Mon 18 Nov 2019, I lodged a claim for a new windscreen. This was my very first claim with Discovery and I was wondering what the experience would be like.

I say this as an individual who has traveled around the world more than extensively extensively and who has an idea of what true WORLD CLASS SERVICE IS OR SHOULD BE ALL ABOUT.

Today I experienced TRULY WORLD CLASS SERVICE from Discovery Insure. Truly world class..

My call was answered virtually instantly and my claim handler is Busisiwe Taliwe.

Busisiwe was nothing but brilliant from the start to the finalisation of my claim authorisation, which took about 2 to 3 minutes.

Professional, efficient, courteous. Busisiwe was brilliant.

Then just when she thought we were done, I gave her the next test.

I informed her that I am flying out of OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow (Tue 19 Nov 2019) and that I will be arriving back in Johannesburg on Saturday 23 Nov 2019.

I further informed her that I will be handing my car to my car valet and parking service when I arrive at the airport, who will take my vehicle under their care while I ma away, then hand it back to me on Saturday.

I then said to Busisiwe that I would like the windscreen repair to be done while I am away, so that on Saturday, I can arrive to a find my car 100%and ready to go.

Without a moment of hesitation, she said to me Tom (I insisted that she address me by my name), no problem at all, Give us the information about your parking valet service provider and kindly provide them with the claim ref no for security purposes, which I did.

Busisiwe then advised me not to worry any longer and that when I arrive home in Johannesburg on Saturday, that I will find my vehicle with a brand new windscreen at OR Tambo International Airport, ready to go.

WOW.

Well done Busisiwe and Discovery. What I experienced was brilliant and it shows what can be done.
