Tiger Wheel & Tyre Annual Multipoint Check

Please be aware that the benefits that Discovery Insure/Vitality Drive advertise have fees to be paid which the call centre agents/brokers don't always advise. The fine print is the catch!!

My spouse took my vehicle to Tiger Wheel & Tyre in Greenstone on 18 May 2018. No one informed him that there was an applicable fee. After the Tiger Wheel & Tyre Annual Multipoint Check was complete, he was asked to pay R95.00. I asked to query this with Discovery & make a payment later but to no avail.

What would have happened if my spouse didn't have funds available?

Discovery Insure is not taking any responsibility as they said that the R95 was paid to Tiger Wheel & Tyre. They further said that my broker had to inform me. regarding the agent, they will internal procedures after listening to the recorded call. Where does that leave me?

Besides paying for the Vitality Drive premium, as a customer you must still pay for the added benefits. Then you must ask the question if the rebate is more that the premium & added benefits that are you are already paying for.
