Thurd party claim

I was involved in an accident with a discovery Insure on 30 June 2016 and lodged a third party claim short after claim no: ********** as the accident was not my fault and had my car assessed on 08 July 2016. After the assessment I informed the liabilities advisor that I was not happy with the assessment to which I went I did my own quotations and forwarded them to him. He then sent the information to the assessor but they are refusing to re-assess my car. I have been calling and sending emails to the liabilities advisor to advice on a wayforward to no avail. Instead I am being ignored and this is dissapointing because I have a medical aid with Discovery and intend cancelling if this is how they conduct their business.

If there is anyone from discovery reading this, please help as I need to have my car repaired.

Thank you for your comment.

We note recent correspondence as at 18 July 2016 between yourself and the liabilities advisor.

The matter of settlement is between the Insurer and the party claiming for settlement, as such until such an agreement is reached, there can be no interference in this matter.

You may if you wish claim from your own insurer and thereafter they will institute a recovery from Discovery Insure.

Regards,

Discovery Insure

Sure there was correspondence on 18 July, didn' t that correspondence seem one sided to you? Your respond is not saying anything and that is the reason for my complain in the first place. As a party claimimg from your insurance I want to know what the way forward is considering that we are not getting anywhere?
