They backdated a cancellation
So I called discovery on the 09/09/2022 to cancel my policy for monthend but my policy was backdated to the 25/08/2022 and no money was refunded to me. So they uninsured me for days I paid for but kept my money for the month premium. I have never been treated like this in my life and I have my medical aid with you as well. To start with Are you allowed to backdate a policy or cancellation of a policy? Why was it backdated? Since my premiums were kept am I still insured? What does this mean for my car? If something happened

20 Sept 2022, 16:14So my policy has been put back in place. I want it on record that you’ve only insured me for the last 5 days from my understand so can premiums be refunded as I won’t get any benefits that come with the policy on the bases of the time left on the policy.
Can I get a complaint reference number for this situation please. I gonna take this as far as I can, there is no way you guess only have a email for complaints and today I’ve spoken to 4-5 people in your company playing transfer to a different department all of them surprised at the issue and transferring me to someone else that can’t help me.
I’ve used discovery medical aid for years but this has shown that the problem might jus be the company culture not the products you offer.
