The most unorganized / unaligned and *********** insurance entity I have dealt with!!!!

The most unorganized insurance entity I have dealt with!!!! I logged a claim for damage on my vehicle on the 14 November after the severe storm in the Midrand area.

we claimed for damages to the car and to the DTVS decoder. An assessor was sent and could not determine if there was a fault due to the storm....duh as there was no signal coming from the dish.

They then out of their own accord close the claim on the system and do not have the courtesy to even respond to my email.

We then got the building insurance to resolve the dish and then paid personally for the decoder.

Now have tried to get myself reimbursed for the decoder and they have just

I then contact discovery and they confirm on email that they agreed with me and that the assessor was unable to determine what was the issue with decoder.

They were very apologetic and requested I send them a report from the DSTV installer, which was done, they even went out and sent me an apology gift.

Now that all the reports etc are submitted and I call to follow up on when I will be paid for the money I spent and there are no notes on their system and the claim still shows are NTU/ closed on the system.

This is a really difficult time for me and to have to deal with this level of disorganization and incompetence is unacceptable.

As soon as my claims for the vehicle are resolved, i will be moving my insurance to another organization.
