SUCH ATROCIOUS SERVICE

Submitted my first claim, claim approved for a certain amount, less my excess. Advice to sign a disclaimer, whereby my Insurer would pay me the cash, and i would cover the difference to buy a brand new item. To my surprise they informed me that they will also deduct the call out fee, as well as the assessment fee . I ask them if this was not a covered peril,or the claim amount was within my excess, who would have been responsible for the assessment fee,in this scenario they said they as Insurer has to cover it.

IS THIS HOW YOU VALUE HARD WORKING HONEST CLIENTS?
