Substandard replacement unit and no warranty

I would like to highlight my concern with the service that I have received from discovery insurance. My home was broken into over two years ago and one on the item ****** was a Samsung television. Discovery insurance did replace with television however no details i.e. invoice or warranty was furnished. <br> After two years of use vertical lines started appearing on the screen which progressively got worse. I then arranged to get the unit repaired and after booking it in for repairs I was told that the unit cannot be repaired as the unit is obsolete. This means that I will have to purchase another unit at my own cost and its needs to be highlighted that this television is quite expensive. Accoridng to the research that was done on the lifespan of televisions the average lifespan should be between 4 to 10 years.\Most LCD/Plasma TVs last for a few years before problems ... In general
