*****ING MONEY FROM CLIENTS.

Please see attached my claim you both alluded that it will be rejected, based on the report that your service provider provided and you verbally highlighted 2 things on the report which have not seen, 1 was the poorly built wall which is above the ceiling which I have never seen the status of it until it came crashing down on my car, 2 you also said that the report refers to my garage not having support lintels where the huge crack has appeared as per the attached pictures. Also attached are the approved plans for the house and garage which was approved 29 July 1988. This garage was approved under those Building regulations of that time. I am placing the following on record that my garage is currently posing a huge danger to me and my family and my cars.

You were very eager to take me on as a client, when I mentioned I will bring my entire portfolio if you give me a good price, the price was not so good anyway, but the comfort of having my entire portfolio under one roof I decided to come back to discovery after a few discussing with Sameer. I accepted the quote based on the fact that my entire portfolio will under one roof. Discovery was very eager to take me on as a paying client, and due diligence was done on my car where I had to either send pictures and load them on the online vault, which I did, or take it to an assessment center.

So here is my question? why was this not done for the house, the only things I was asked if the house is freestanding, is there thatch within 5m of the house, is the house build with brick and mortar, etc. I am not even sure if Sameer asked me how old the house is. Discovery was just in a hurry to take me on as a paying client, without doing your due diligence on my property. Your rejection of my claim is baseless, due to the fact you did not come out to check and inspect the facility. You can’t tell me that the wall was not built properly when the plan was approved.

By rejecting my claim that also affects the repairs on my car. So Discovery is not willing to pay my claim for structural damages and my car. Discovery is telling me that when I bought the house that I was meant to go inside the ceilings and check everything if you are willing to insure a facility without inspecting it, that means you are insuring on your risk, and only to inspect my facility at claim stage, this has given me a false sense of been covered for any damages.

I have spoken to Gontse today and I requested her to tell her manager to call me, I am still waiting for the call, that is how much I matter to Discovery because I am a stup!d uneducated man that must just pay big cooperation’s and because I don’t my rights. So my claims will be rejected, because of something that is not of my doing, this structural.

I am very worried should I suffer major damages, on both my properties DUE TO LANDSLIDE OR RAIN DAMAGES, where discovery makes such lame excuses just to get out of a claim.

I am giving you chance to rectify this matter as soon as possible because my premiums are also based on the cars parking inside a lockable garage at night, but due to the risk, the cars are parking outside at night, which is another risk. Should this matter not be resolved by fixing my car and garage, I will use all connections in the Media Industry, social media platforms to expose how discovery treats paying clients and warn potential new clients not to fall into this trap. Black Twitter is a very powerful tool and radio especially black community radio stations. There is also Facebook.

I know you don’t care because I am just a drop in your database of clients, but I have a big mouth and good social media following, on Facebook I have 2899 friend and 384 followers, maybe you must check it out for yourself. I will post this every day.

@*** Wendy, please invite me on Radio 702 so I can give my entire story even on how my access was changed when I wanted to adjust my portfolio, my excess was escalated to R5000 from I think R2000 because of previous claims because discovery did not do their due diligence, they are ripping me off. When I enquired I was told about my previous claims, which I did disclose to Sameer.

Waiting for your response.

Kind Regards
