Stay away from Discovery Insure - Extremely poor service
Discovery Insure is extremely inefficient, non-responsive and extremely pathetic when lodging a claim. However, they extremely efficient when you join and phone you 100 times a day to get all your details. I lodged a claim on 3 Feb. The assessor came out on 6 Feb and submitted his report online. To-date I'm still waiting for a response from them or even a broker who gets a commission of R413 a month. Emails go unanswered whilst we still waiting for a response. I cancelled my policy and will be moving to OutSurance.

16 Feb 2023, 13:05Good day, as expected, not a single call from Discovery or the broker who receives R413 a month since this issue was raised on Hellopeter or when the claim was submitted on 3 February 2023.
I don't think this matter was even escalated.
Extremely disappointed with the level of service.
I suppose that's why OutSurance is the number 1 insurance company in South Africa.
