Stay away from Discovery Insure
To anyone reading this, stay away from discovery for anything except their medical aid.
Discovery Insure has done the following to me over the years: - Randomly upped premiums and when they are queried, lower them again and then they are upped in two months again. - They kept handing my policy to random brokers without my knowledge or agreement. - The claims procedure was a joke. The one time I needed them they first wouldn't help because of the point above then they showed a complete lack of knowledge in regards to the road laws and I had to do their work in getting my excess back from Golden Arrow.
With all of the above, I have moved to a new and decent insurer and canceled my policy on the 15 December 2020. Surprise, surprise discovery insure has debited me again with no one able to assist.
Considering that I dealt with this Monday morning, where is the money back in my account and the copy of the recorded calls? How slow is your company? What is happening with the manager who **** to me? I said privately that I will take down the review only if I get what I am requesting.
