Stay Away From Discovery

An update to the previous complaint, Discovery Insure eventually paid back my premium. But refused cooperation on anything else. No details what is happening to the manager who blatantly **** to me on the phone and refusal to provide the recordings of my calls as proof of what transpired without signing a contract that gives them sole control as to what is done with the recordings and who can listen to them which in my opinion is unacceptable as you are being recorded and you don't have a choice in it. I have 3 pieces of advice for people:

- If you are wanting to sign up with Discovery Insure, don't. Spend 5 minutes looking around and you will find better premiums with better excesses from numerous other companies.

- If you are a client, don't rely on their recordings to solve any issues. They refuse to hand over copies without you signing contracts that you can't let anyone hear them without Discovery's permission so refuse the right to record because it does not benefit you in the least.

-Lastly, if you are a client, shop around with other insurance companies. I had my premiums halved and went from 4500 excess to no excess in 20min. It is always worth it so have a look.
