STAY AWAY! Confirmed - Over priced, NO integrity and zero transparency.

This is not just an emotional rant.... But an objective review after 2 years with Discovery and other policies with other insurers.

Discover has zero integrity nor any accountability platform.

After the previous issue of hiking my premium by 33% I was contacted by them to follow up BUT with exactly that which is stated not to do. Gugulethu used every angle to justify the increase without any means of approaching this factually.

I again appeal to them to review my over priced premium and was told and I quote Gugu, "There is nothing more we can do on your profile, all the discounts have been app****" ONLY After pointing out that the risk they based it on, only applies to R700 out of my R1300 policy, she then suddenly rephrase to say they can reduce it with another R30. Why not be honest about it from the start but only when caught out.

Then the climax of it all is, that which Discovery has told me numerous times before, and again I quote Gugu, " We can not pin point the cost" They have the freedom to charge what they want, blaming it on algerhytoms without being able to explain what you pay for. Needless to say with the discount app****... they charge me R750 for a 2021 Suzuki Spresso where Outsurance quoted me R340, They quoted me R1400 for my Land Rover Disc 4 2010 which is currently insured with outsurance for R680.

They are *********ing in staying as I have 1 year left of my 3 year benefit where they match my cashback rand by rand with reward points. I understand the fairness of losing any accumulated benefits, but they are keeping my R8000 cash and the interest they've earned on it by not paying it out to me, like all the rest of the clients.
