soddy *********** suppliers

busy with a claim with discovery insure and really not impressed. they have a centrally contracted supplier that they outsource their work to. this supplier then hands the work out to a host of different suppliers that they have on their books. who checks the competency of these companies? the plumbing company sent to me to fit taps could not complete the work as they would need to lift the basin off the granite tops. they then left and I was informed by Discovery that the work could not be completed due to poor workmanship and fittings. I tend to disagree and asked them to send an assessor/ inspector so they can explain to me exactly how these suppliers came to this conclusion. a week later I am still waiting. the way this claim for not even R 5000 was handled leaves a bad taste in my mouth and at this point I am strongly considering changing everything else I have with this company.
