So much for EMERGENCY roadside assistance

I made use of Discovery Insure's emergency assist when my wife's car broke down with her and my 2 yo baby in the car on the N14 highway. Firstly I was quite disappointed that I had to pay in R300 for a 40km tow to our mechanic. I felt it was very unreasonable for a service I pay for. Secondly, a guy called Willie at Discovery committed to me that AMS Towing would be with my wife and baby within 45 minutes. I drove there to meet them and we waited for more than 2 hours over what I was told would take 45minutes. After an hour I called Discovery insure to follow up on the status. A lady in the call centre, Michelle Selego, committed to phoning me back immediately....she never did. I then had to phone again. What a stressful and dangerous situation and then having to deal with bad service and unfulfilled commitments from Discovery Insure on top of that.
