Six months to repair a smashed radiator? And still no car...

Today, it is six months ago that Discovery Insure had my car towed to Brooklyn Motor Lab to repair a smashed radiator. I still do not have the car back. Six months. For a radiator. In the interim, the repairer (Brooklyn Motor Lab) sent the car to another repairer to get it running. At the other garage, it was found that two injectors had been removed and the backseat as well. To repair a radiator??? Now I am said the brakes no longer work. Even if I did not have the car for the last six months, I am to receive back a car with no brakes. Even though the car was working perfectly when the radiator was smashed. Apparently, even though I had not had my car for the last six months, it is now my problem that the car doesn't have brakes anymore. No progress with Discovery or the brokers... Apparently this is the "new normal"?
