Short fall of Discovery Insure

Discovery insure did well by me, however, their choice of service providers make erases all the good work they do. After the accident, their consultant chose the panel beater and car rental without involving me in the decision making and I had to follow up to know where was the car.

1. Durban Panel Beater pinetown promised to complete the repairs within 10 days but thy took over a month yet the Discovery insure consultant couldn't even question them why and provide me with feedback. I had to contact them myself and even go there, and deal with a rude representative.

2. He chose Avis Car Rental in Durban that promised me to be liable for excess fee of R3500 for damage and lose. However, when the problem occurs they want me to pay for the full repair while ignoring any query i made to them. I asked them why am i being charged full cost and all they do is send more messages demanding that i pay or be handed over to debt collectors....

I already had two people ready to join discovery insure but because of the service providers, they won't be joining and i will be leaving. When choosing service provider, do not only rely on what they put on paper...
