My car insurance with Discovery lapsed between December and January due to a missed debit order. I phoned in to renew it, and Shamanie Pillay from the Retentions Department was the consultant who attended to me. I appreciate how quick and efficient the process was, as she had to capture my details afresh for a new policy. I also particularly appreciated that she kept the quotation low, rather than opting for the increased premium I would have gone onto for 2018. I understand that Discovery processes are already determined and the insurance quotation amount is generated, but the person delivering the service makes all the difference.
