Sewage flood not adressed

On Thursday the 13th August 2015 we had a sewage flood. We lodged a claim with Discovery on the Friday 14th August.<br> <br> A very rude and aggressive assessor arrived on Tuesday the 18th August to inform us that despite the health risks attached to a carpet soaked in human waste his reccomendation was that the carpet be washed only. Upon questioning the health risks I was verbally abused and threatened. I proceded to contact discovery and complain about his service, advising them that I would refuse to use deal with such a aggressive and disrespectful person. After which they attempted to trick me into handing over the carpet for a wash to the same assessor I lodged a complaint about. <br> <br> The claim has subsequently been approved for replacement but I have been advised by discovery I am only allows to purchase a carpet from this assessor who treated my with such abuse ( never mind that I may not want one of his carpets). I have also not had a response on the complaint that I laid out towards him.<br>
