Settlement

Discovery consultant Gordon van wyk has been ignoring me for two weeks now not responding to my emails. Discovery sent me a settlement letter confirming R95k roughly. They only paid me R64k and when i query this Gordon van wyk seems to go missing and is not responding. I called in today and Discovery said the difference is being paid to the car repair company as they started repairs before it was written off. This is clearly not my problem. Discovery should have come to this result after the 1st inspection, not the second. The car company even called me on the day of the first inspection to say it will be a write off.

I will be contacting an insurance Ombudsman.

Discovery have made so many mistakes in this process. The fact they are now saying this is an absolute joke.
