Run away from claims

Last week I was bumped by one of the discovery customer, at the scene he agreed yes he bumped me at the back bla bla bla, and then later in the week I called his insurance to lay the claim and they are busy taking me from pillar to strength no offer for courtesy hire, I take my son to school via a taxi everyday and I have missed almost 2 weeks of sports of my son. Till today no one has contacted me from Discovery insure neither did the person who hit my vehicle and apologised at the time.

I am very frustrated don't know what to do with this people I am hoping that should I include the lawyers that they will also reimburse for that.

It is so useless for people to have insurances when you cant be assisted when you need them, might as well not be paying any premium.

What the insurances basically do is run away from paying out. Where am I supposed to get the access fee right now since they are running away.
