I have had a completely shambo;ic service and have suffered greatly in their hands. i put a claim for a credit shortfall cliam more than ... weeks ago. Instead of ppaying out my claim, i have shunted from pillar to post, and Discovery is trying to come up with every reason under the sun why they cannot honour my claim, and noe of them are lawful or legitimitate. it sucks big time that such a reputable company would want to rob me as its customers after paying my premiums without fail. the treatment I have suffered in their hands has left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Our plan guide refers :
7.4.5 | Credit shortfall
Where we declare your vehicle a total loss after an
insured event and there is a gap between the value
of the vehicle and the amount that you owe the
finance company, we will settle the difference up to
the amount as shown in your Plan Schedule , less:
Any amount refundable to you (in terms of the
credit agreement as at the date of loss, not
limited to insurance premiums, including shortterm
insurance, credit life or motor warranty
premiums); and
Any extra amounts added to the principal debt
in terms of the credit agreement, including extra
equipment which is not specified on your plan,
and any finance charges and interest relating to
these extra amounts.
