Roadside Assistance

On Friday 2 October, I had what could have turned into a dreadful experience into an amazing experience. I had left the lights of my car on, needless to say when I got into my battery had run down.. I called Discovery Insure & was helped by a gentlemen called Howard who thou pleasant & friendly to speak to advised me, that the claims department says I did not have "Roadside Assistance" linked to my policy. As a single female, this is most definitely 1 of things I ask for should I have a problem on the road.

Irritated the call was dropped, I called back & spoke to the most friendly helpful sympathetic lady by the name of Safia in 'Retension'. She checked, called me back & re-assured me that in fact I did have Roadside assistance linked to my policy. In less than half jour after speaking to her & a Mpho in claims (who called me back an hour later when I was safely in the confines of my home).

I must admit, I was very close cancelling my policy as I feel that my broker should have told me that I was without this particular cover.. However Discovery Insure definitely has Safia to thank, for swaying me from taking out insurance with another service provider.
