Ridiculous
I'm new to Discovery Insure and this morning I reviewed my trip into work and it scored me lower saying that I used my phone. I didn't use my phone and kept it in its car mount as I use Waze for traffic when driving into work. I phoned the call centre and the consultant told me that even if the phone is lying in the cubby hole and it slides around, that is considered as phone use. What nonsense. How arrogant is Discovery that they think they can dictate your life to this degree? All under the guise of driving behaviour change. Absolute nonsense. I will be cancelling the policy and going back to Santam.

28 Jan 2020, 09:35Received two phone calls from them on the same day promising a whole bunch of things and investigations etc. No further comms or a result. As a matter of fact, they have not even recorded any goals achieved etc, even though the call centre said we were getting our driving goals. What a waste of time. Don't even try with Discovery Insure. I'm going back to Santam. Absolutely useless.
