Return of Excess paid for hit and run accident

While my car was stationery and parked in a parking on the side of the road, a vehicle from Day Trippers came past and the trailer smashed into my car door, causing major damage. The vehicle then drove off without stopping, even though I was running down the road shouting and chasing after the drive. To date my insurer Discovery Insure has not been able to reclaim the money from Day Trippers, who claim the accident never happened. When I followed up with Discovery Insure, about trying to recover the excess funds that I had had to pay to have my car repaired, from Day Trippers, they called me back and said that Discovery Insure had agreed to pay me back my excess in the interim, while they pursue the matter with Day Trippers.. What a wonderful surprise to get such great service and response from Discovery Insure!
