Rental Still Not Delivered

Yesterday I called to report an accident on my car luckily a tow truck showed up from no where and Discovery confirmed that the tow truck is registered with them. My frustration is that I told the lady that I am far from home I will a rental vehicle and gave her the address for where the rental vehicle can be delivered and she said I will get the car yesterday, I called someone to take me to the address where the rental vehicle will be delivered I waited there until now. She didn't call me and the rental vehicle is not here either I want to go home today but I won't be able to because I don't have transport, I must go to work tomorrow but I won't because I don't have transport. Is this how your insurance operates leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere? What if I was in another province far from home? Why am I paying for this rental vehicle and when I need I don't get it? Had you not said I will receive the rental vehicle following a claim? How do I get around now? Must I use taxis? If this is how you are I would like to cancel my insurance I work for an insurance company they will be able to assist me. This is a very difficult situation for me I am very frustrated
